All success starts with a trained workforce. SRA has managed LEARN since 2015 and was awarded Small Business of the Year in 2017 by URS | CH2M Hill Oak Ridge LLC (UCOR), the DOE’s prime contractor. LEARN is a custom, scalable Learning Management System (LMS). In FY2018, LEARN delivered in excess of 27,000 web-based courses and tracked classroom attendance in excess of 33,000 personnel to support DOE mission objectives. This represents a 46% increase in classroom attendance and 120% increase in web-based training since 2015.
SRA provides the resources for all system administration and software development. Our personnel are responsible for the following: development, testing, implementing, and maintaining the LEARN application; designing, building, and implementing course delivery based on course requirements; working with clients to define web and software application requirements
Strategic Resource Alliance, LLC (SRA) manages the Local Education Administrative Requirements Network (LEARN) for training of all personnel supporting the Department of Energy (DOE) Oak Ridge Environmental Management Vision 2016 and Vision 2020 campaigns. The campaigns execute a portfolio of cleanup projects that demolish facilities, dispose legacy waste, and remediate soil and groundwater on the Oak Ridge Reservation (ORR). The ORR includes the East Tennessee Technology Park (formerly K-25 Site), Y-12 National Security Complex, and Oak Ridge National Laboratory.
LEARN capabilities including user management, student record management, management of individual training requirements, training position description requirements, management of courses and exams (classroom and web-based), programs, positions, required reading, and reporting. LEARN web-based content is delivered in presentation formats such as PDF and PowerPoint and web formats such as HTML5, Adobe Flash, mp4 and mpeg. Virtually all browser capable formats are supported. E-mail delivery of course notifications and 7-day, 30-day, and 60-day reminders is also built-in.
