Course Description
This course provides a comprehensive overview of the requirements for approving, operating, and maintaining compliance for Inactive Waste Sites (IWS) in accordance with Department of Energy (DOE) expectations and safety basis documentation. Participants will learn how to define an IWS, understand its regulatory framework, and identify the facilities and equipment excluded from IWS designation.
