After completing this training, the participant will be able to discuss the responsibilities of a waste generator.
Course Description
This module provides workers with the basic skills needed to recognize actions and activities that could generate hazardous waste or mixed waste. It is not intended to provide advanced skills necessary for characterizing, storing or treating hazardous waste or mixed waste. Basic information is also provided for labeling of waste types such as hazardous, universal, polychlorinated biphenyls (PCB), asbestos, and low-level waste.
