Course Description

This course provides participants with the knowledge and tools needed to support effective hazardous waste management within their organizations and communities. Learners will explore methods for promoting proper recycling and disposal of common hazardous wastes, strategies to reduce the volume of hazardous materials entering the municipal solid waste stream, and approaches that help minimize regulatory burdens on businesses. The course also highlights opportunities to improve hazardous waste collection programs, enabling participants to contribute to safer, more efficient, and environmentally responsible waste practices.
