Vehicle/Construction Equipment Spotter

After completing this training, the participant will be able to perform the duties of a Construction Equipment Spotter, in accordance with applicable UCOR procedures.
Course Description
This course prepares participants to safely and effectively perform the duties of a Construction Equipment Spotter in accordance with applicable UCOR procedures. Trainees will learn how to communicate with equipment operators, identify and control hazards, maintain safe distances, and ensure compliance with site-specific requirements. The course emphasizes situational awareness, hand signal communication, and best practices for guiding construction equipment to prevent incidents and protect personnel in active work areas. Upon completion, participants will be able to carry out spotter responsibilities with confidence and consistency.
