WDO RCRA Initial

This RCRA Initial training is designed for employees assigned to waste management roles, particularly Waste Designation Officers (WDOs), who are responsible for ensuring hazardous waste is properly identified, classified, and handled in accordance with the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA). The course provides foundational knowledge of hazardous waste regulations, waste characterization, generator categories, container labeling, accumulation time limits, and documentation requirements. Participants will gain the tools necessary to promote environmental compliance and reduce regulatory risk within their organizations.
Course Description
Upon completion of this training, participants will be able to identify, classify, and manage hazardous waste in accordance with RCRA regulations, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local waste management requirements as they apply to the role of a Waste Designation Officer (WDO).
