Course Description

Training addresses:

  • Worker proficiency in CS Program duties.
  • Understanding, knowledge, and skills necessary for safe performance of CS duties.
  • Understanding of hazards in PRS’ and methods used to eliminate, control, and protect workers from hazards.
  • Hazards and conditions which cause Non-Permit Space (NPS) entry to become Alternate Entry, Reclassified PRS, or PRS Entry. Include associated requirements/actions.
  • For workers not authorized to perform entry rescues, dangers of attempting such rescues.
  • Other procedural and regulatory requirements.
